Located in Dodowa, our congregation serves as a spiritual home for individuals and families seeking a Christ-centred community grounded in biblical truth and Presbyterian tradition.
Our Heritage
The Presbyterian Church of Ghana traces its origins to 1828, when Basel missionaries arrived on the Gold Coast, laying the foundation for what has become the oldest continuously existing Christian church in Ghana.
Rooted in the Reformed tradition, the Church emphasizes:

Like many Presbyterian congregations, Mount Zion began as a small fellowship of committed believers, meeting for prayer, Bible study, and evangelism within the Dodowa community.
Through dedication, unity, and God’s grace, the fellowship grew steadily—eventually becoming an organized congregation under the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. Over the years, the church has expanded its ministries, membership, and impact within the community.
